Anglo Atlantic is the vehicle for Michael's investment and advisory work in the automotive aftermarket, spanning the United States and Europe.

Treadsy grew out of the technology, operating capability and commercial platform built around the US tyre businesses.

Michael completed his involvement with Treadsy in 2025.

Tirescanner combined with Tirebuyer in 2021, and Michael became President and Chief Executive Officer of the combined business.

Tirescanner applied the model Michael had proven in the United Kingdom (buy online, fit locally) to the United States.

Founded in 2001, Blackcircles.com pioneered online tyre retail in the United Kingdom: motorists bought tyres online and had them fitted through a network of local garages.

Michelin acquired Blackcircles.com in May 2015 in a deal announced at £50 million, with Michael remaining with the business after the sale.

Michael left school at 16 and worked as a tyre fitter. At 17 he established his first business with the support of a £500 grant from The Prince's Trust.

The business was subsequently sold to Kwik Fit, where Michael went on to work in e-commerce.
